RESEARCH
In the first phase a baseline study and a needs analysis are generated, which will serve as a basis for the further development of minimum standards for PSI. This desk research will provide an overview of existing studies in the field of PSI and assemble existing codes of ethics in the member states. Each university contributes to the desk research from its own expertise, focusing on the following three areas:
- standards, training and certification for PSI;
- specific challenges and opportunities of video-mediated interpreting (VMI);
- training needs and activities for speakers of LLDs.
