TESTING

This project stage will test all the web portal’s functions, including the repository, e-learning platform, booking tool and video platform. The test phase will initially focus on the specific case of LLD speakers. In close collaboration with the relevant reception authorities, three organisations from Belgium, France and Greece will organise extensive language and interpreter training, followed by certification. The complete training and certification trajectory comprises five phases:
• entrance assessment
• training
• internship
• certification test
• supervision
A key element of the trajectory involves interpreting assignments that will be facilitated cross-nationally through the video-platform. In each of these three member states 20 WEBPSIs will be trained and certified, with four LLDs as source languages, resulting in a total number of eight different language combinations. Target languages include, for each member state, one national language along with English.
